Itinerary
Day 1: Paro to Shana (Start of Trek)
- Drive from Paro to Shana, the starting point of the trek (Approximately 2 hours).
- Begin the trek from Shana and follow the Paro Chhu (river) upstream.
- Pass through beautiful forests of pine, oak, and rhododendron.
- Camp overnight at Shana.
Day 2: Shana to Thangthangkha
- Trek from Shana to Thangthangkha.
- Continue following the Paro Chhu through lush forests and meadows.
- Enjoy panoramic views of Mount Jumolhari and other peaks.
- Camp overnight at Thangthangkha.
Day 3: Thangthangkha to Jangothang
- Trek from Thangthangkha to Jangothang, also known as “Jomolhari Base Camp.”
- Hike through alpine meadows and yak herder camps.

- Camp overnight at Jangothang.
Day 4: Exploration Day at Jangothang

Day 9: Dolam Kencho to Dodena (End of Trek) – Drive to Thimphu

- Meet your transport and drive to Thimphu (Approximately 1 hour).

- Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 10: Departure
- Transfer to Paro International Airport for departure.
